Students learn to know God and demonstrate the ability to read and reflect on scripture and its meaning for life today. The students will also demonstrate an understanding of the history of the church. In this way students will develop an understanding and appreciation for the Catholic Faith.
In religion the knowledge of and ability to participate in the Catholic tradition of prayer and an appreciation of different forms of prayer is practiced daily.
In all we do students learn to demonstrate an understanding of moral teaching, and an ability to make good moral decisions and to act in a responsible Christian manner.
The students demonstrate an understanding of the seven key principles of Catholic social teachings and have the ability to apply them to personal and societal situations.
A focus on service learning and belief in the dignity of the human person underpins the study of religion and in the way we treat each other.
