FINE ARTS
MUSIC
Students in all grades enjoy weekly music classes. Classes consist of vocal and instrumental development, music history, musical notation, rhythm, movement, and musical composition. Liturgical music is a key component at all grade levels.
FINE AND PERFORMING ARTS
Grades K-5 have weekly art instruction. Students in grades six, seven, and eight are able to choose from a variety of electives in order to fulfill their art requirement. (See below for sample choices) Likewise, students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades have the opportunity to participate in an annual musical production.
ART
Students in grades one through five have art class once each week. Art for middle school students occurs in their elective classes.
MIDDLE SCHOOL ELECTIVES
(Middle school electives were initiated in Fall, 2008)
Middle school students participate in elective classes throughout the school year.
Selections change from trimester to trimester.
